A new initiative from the Right to Movement group in Bethlehem in cooperating with Palestine Heritage Trail has achieved a great success with the participation of around 350 participants from Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Nablus, where the group has walked all the way along Wadi Al Qelt reaching St. George’s Monastery.
The participants had a great time getting to know each other and building new relations, in addition to enjoying the beautiful nature around Wadi Qelt away from the technology and distraction of the city life, and discovering the ancient history and archeology of the place.
Many of the participants said they were pleased to join this trip and would like to do it again in other places along the trail. Although it is challenging, some said, it is still worth taking it because those adventures will make you feel that you’ve done something worth it after all. The group expressed their gratitude to Palestine Heritage Trail saying that it is not the first time that they join their trips and that the trail’s local guides are always up for new information available to give the participants.
