PHT Signed agreements with 9 service providers along the new segment of the Palestine Heritage Trail (Beit Mirsim – Battir)
On September 24, PHT conducted a ceremony to sign grant agreements with 9 service providers along the new segment of Palestine Heritage Trail . The grants included 2 homestays, 3 women centers (produce and sell local products), and 4 SMEs who will start establishing their business. These businesses will be ready to provide their services to visitors at the beginning of 2021.
Through this meeting, PHT gave the service providers the chance to learn about each other projects. They started thinking about how to network with each other, for example, Surif women center asked to Sell their “Maftool” in another women center booth in Battir.
Moreover, they had the chance to share dreams. Sikka women center are willing to develop their garden as a resting place for visitors. Enas from Battir hopes to do booths along with the new segments of the Palestine Heritage Trail. Ishaq Alhroub from Deir Samit wishes that more people learn about the tangible cultural heritage of Palestine by visiting her museum.
