Wi’am began working as a guide on The Palestinian Heritage Trail, and found her passion and love for the environment which made her study tour-guiding in the university and develop herself by taking various courses in leadership and first aid. She is known for being a woman who walks and camps in nature and deals with communities along the trail and she always makes sure to reflect the image of a strong Palestinian woman and to reveal her love for competition. She considers hiking as a perfect way to help a hiker get to know Palestine’s natural environment and biodiversity, and to learn more about the local communities, including Bedouins and their lifestyle.
